Simulations show that forward Raman amplification in plasma can amplify structured laser beams (vortex, Bessel, Airy) by 10^4 to 10^5 times in intensity, reaching around 10^17 W/cm2 with sub-cycle self-compression.

Generation of high power spatially-structured laser pulses via forward Raman amplification in plasma
Simulations show that forward Raman amplification in plasma can amplify structured laser beams (vortex, Bessel, Airy) by 10^4 to 10^5 times in intensity, reaching around 10^17 W/cm2 with sub-cycle self-compression.
