J/ψ → γ η π⁰ proceeds mainly via π⁰ b₁(1235)⁰, π⁰ ρ(1450)⁰ and η h₁(1170) intermediates, with first observations of J/ψ radiative decays to isospin-triplet scalars a₀(980), a₂(1320) and a₂(1700), and branching fraction (25.7 ± 0.3 ± 1.5) × 10^{-6}.
