Conductive fillers, PbSn solder coatings, and stainless steel oxidation enable stable control of turn-to-turn resistivity in REBCO coils to target values of 1000-5000 uOhm-cm2 without sensitivity to 30,000 pressure cycles at 4.2 K.
In case of REBCO/stainless steel contact, an obvious solution is to form a thin oxide layer on stainless steel with controlled thickness [11]
