Site-resolved tunneling spectroscopy with separate particle and hole probes is demonstrated in a four-transmon Bose-Hubbard lattice, reproducing calculated spectra without free parameters.
Without coupling to any probe, the transmon T1 would lead to a population decay of ∆N0 ≈ −1 in a duration of 8 µs starting from the Mott state
