Fitting a spectator-isobar three-body unitary amplitude to BESIII K0S K0S pi0 data yields poles at (1277±2±1)-i(12±1±0) MeV for f1(1285) and (1435±2±7)-i(40±2±1) MeV for f1(1420), with the latter traced to a K Kbar* quasi-bound state.

abstract
The axial-vector mesons $a_1(1260)$, $b_1(1235)$, $f_1(1285)$, $h_1(1170)$, $h_1(1380)$, and $K_1(1270)$ are dynamically generated in the unitized chiral perturbation theory. Such a picture has been tested extensively in the past few years. In this work, we calculate the interaction kernel up to $\mathcal{O}(p^2)$ and study the impact on the dynamically generated axial-vector states. In anticipation of future lattice QCD simulations, we calculate the scattering lengths and the pole positions as functions of the pion mass, with the light-quark mass dependence of the kaon, the eta, and the vector mesons determined by the $n_f=2+1$ lattice QCD simulations of the PACS-CS Collaboration.

Using the fixed-center approximation, the π⁰(η) f₁(1285) interaction yields scattering parameters and correlation functions but no clear poles for the π₁(1400), π₁(1600), or η₁(1855) resonances, only a broad structure near 1500-1600 MeV and a cusp at the η f₁ threshold.
The K D_s0*(2317) system develops a narrow resonance 40 MeV below threshold under the fixed-center molecular assumption, producing a characteristic correlation function for strong attraction.
