Ultrafast coherent phonon spectroscopy reveals that the 2.4 THz mode in Td-WTe₂ exhibits anomalous phonon-electron scattering with a critical point near 100 K, while higher-frequency modes follow conventional anharmonic phonon-phonon decay.
According to previous studies on Raman spec- troscopy, all of these vibrational modes correspond to the A1 optical phonon mode [12–15]
