Using a K*(892)+D*(2010) pole model fitted to BESIII data, the authors show the D* pole can mimic the S-wave contribution previously attributed to the kappa scalar meson in D_{e4} decays.

abstract
A recent combination of measurements performed by the LHCb collaboration determined that $\gamma=(63.8^{+3.5}_{-3.7})^\circ$. The fit combined the results of $\gamma$ and charm measurements, which resulted in precision improvements for the strong-phase difference between $D^0 \to K^-\pi^+$ and $D^0 \to K^+\pi^-$ decays, $\delta_{K\pi}^{D}$, and the $D^0-\bar{D}^0$ mixing parameter, $y$. In addition, new LHCb measurements of the CKM angle $\gamma$ using $B^0 \to D K^{*0}$ and $B^- \to D^{*} K^-$ decays with the $D\to K_{S}^0 h^+ h^-$ final state (where $h=\pi,K$) are presented.

Semileptonic $D_{e4}$ decays: hadronic dynamics and the determination of $|V_{cs}|$
Using a K*(892)+D*(2010) pole model fitted to BESIII data, the authors show the D* pole can mimic the S-wave contribution previously attributed to the kappa scalar meson in D_{e4} decays.
