abstract

The leptonic QED radiative corrections are calculated in the next-to-leading log approximation ${\cal O}[\alpha^2 \ln(Q^2/m_e^2)]$ for unpolarized deeply inelastic $ep$--scattering in the case of mixed variables. The corrections are determined using mass factorization in the OMS--scheme for the double--differential scattering cross sections.

  • Single inclusive hadron and jet production in lepton-hadron scattering hep-ph · 2026-07-08 · conditional · none · ref 22 · internal anchor

Single inclusive high-PT hadron and jet production in lepton-hadron scattering is factorized using a joint QCD+QED approach with universal lepton distribution functions, and predictions are given for JLab and EIC energies.

  • Impact of QED Radiation on SMEFT Constraints in Deep Inelastic Scattering hep-ph · 2026-07-08 · conditional · none · ref 35 · internal anchor

Collision-induced QED radiation produces O(1) corrections to DIS cross sections but only few-percent shifts in longitudinal electron spin asymmetries, making asymmetries more robust for SMEFT constraints at SoLID and EIC.
