abstract
We discuss methods and approaches to the description of molecular states in the spectrum of heavy quarks and investigate in detail various properties of the exotic charmonium-like state X(3872) in the framework of the mesonic molecule model.

Leading-order predictions for three-body point production rates of B and B* meson systems are derived in short-range NREFT from two-body input alone.
Using nonrelativistic effective field theory, the X(3872) is treated as a D*D molecule to predict radiative decay widths to D D gamma, finding a strong neutral-over-charged hierarchy and quantifying D D rescattering effects.

Radiative decays of $X(3872)$ within $D{\bar D}^*$ molecular framework
