A dual-axis goniometer enables two-dimensional in-vacuo steering of electrospray ion beams from an EMI-BF4 wetted needle, permitting angular TOF measurements that show angle-dependent changes in monomer, dimer, trimer, and heavy species abundances.
To the bare eye, the rough shapes of the blurred TOF curves do not exhibit wildly different structures, although as we will see, they produce markedly different molecular yields
