Abelian N=2 cubic vertices (s,s1,s2) with minimal derivatives exist only for s ≥ s1+s2 and take the form of a prepotential coupled to a conserved supercurrent; for s1≠s2 the supercurrent is complex, generating one parity-even and one parity-odd interaction.
