A kinetic model fitted to FOPI light-nuclei data from central Au+Au collisions at 0.25A-0.6A GeV yields an unexpectedly high alpha-particle fraction in warm dense nuclear matter.
Light clusters thus have the following distributions in nuclear matter, f eq ν (P) = H(|P| − P Mott ν ) exp [ ϵν (P)− µ ν kBT ] ± 1
