abstract

Hidden sector D7-branes with non-zero gauge flux are a generic feature of type IIB compactifications. A non-vanishing Fayet-Iliopoulos term induced by non-zero gauge flux leads to a T-brane configuration. Expanding the D7-brane action around this T-brane background in the presence of three-form supersymmetry breaking fluxes, we obtain a positive definite contribution to the moduli scalar potential which can be used as an uplifting source for de Sitter vacua. In this way we provide a higher-dimensional understanding of known 4D mechanisms of de Sitter uplifting based on hidden sector F-terms which are non-zero because of D-term stabilisation.

Chiral global embedding of Fibre Inflation with $\overline{\rm D3}$ uplift

hep-th · 2024-12-11 · conditional · novelty 7.0

Explicit construction of a chiral global embedding of Fibre Inflation with anti-D3 uplift on an h^{1,1}=4 K3-fibered Calabi-Yau, using magnetised D7-branes, a Whitney brane, and O3-planes at a conifold tip, with viable parameter regions identified.

On Calabi-Yau Threefolds For Unified LVS Inflation

hep-th · 2026-06-09 · unverdicted · novelty 6.0

A database scan identifies 2+14+45 Calabi-Yau threefolds with specified fibration and divisor structures that unify three LVS Kähler moduli inflation models.

Moduli Stabilisation for ADD and the Dark Dimension Scenario

hep-th · 2026-06-17 · unverdicted · novelty 5.0

A perturbative stabilization mechanism in the Large Volume Scenario for K3-fibered Calabi-Yau threefolds generates exponentially large 2D base volumes while keeping the 4D fibre small, enabling ADD or Dark Dimension limits with possible dS or quintessence vacua.

Assisted Fibre Inflation in Perturbative LVS

hep-th · 2025-06-27 · unverdicted · novelty 4.0

Multi-field fibre inflation in perturbative LVS uses collective dynamics of several moduli to achieve viable cosmology with sub-Planckian individual field ranges given by total range divided by sqrt(n).

Loop Blow-up Inflation: An Overview

hep-th · 2026-04-08 · unverdicted · novelty 4.0

Generic string-loop corrections to the Kähler potential replace near-minimum slow-roll in LVS blow-up inflation with a power-law plateau at larger fields, yielding higher r still consistent with current CMB/BAO data.

On Global Embedding of Assisted Fibre Inflation

hep-th · 2026-04-21 · unverdicted · novelty 3.0

Assisted multi-fibre inflation distributes the required field range across several moduli in global CY orientifolds, overcoming single-field Kähler cone obstructions to realize viable inflation.
