Coherent control and a two-qubit entangling gate between an ionic-core clock qubit and a circular Rydberg qubit are demonstrated in one strontium atom.
The finite pulse durations lead to a deviation from the ideal gate operation, an effect that is known from quantum sensing and single qubit decoupling se- quences [57, 58]
