Cosmological perturbation theory is a powerful tool to predict the statistics of large-scale structure in the weakly non-linear regime, but even at 1-loop order it results in computationally expensive mode-coupling integrals. Here we present a fast algorithm for computing 1-loop power spectra of quantities that depend on the observer's orientation, thereby generalizing the FAST-PT framework (McEwen et al., 2016) that was originally developed for scalars such as the matter density. This algorithm works for an arbitrary input power spectrum and substantially reduces the time required for numerical evaluation. We apply the algorithm to four examples: intrinsic alignments of galaxies in the tidal torque model; the Ostriker-Vishniac effect; the secondary CMB polarization due to baryon flows; and the 1-loop matter power spectrum in redshift space. Code implementing this algorithm and these applications is publicly available at https://github.com/JoeMcEwen/FAST-PT .

    astro-ph.CO 2025-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

    Galaxy clustering plus weak lensing from HSC Y3 and SDSS gives S8 = 0.780 ± 0.030 and lensing-only redshift offsets Δz3 = -0.112, Δz4 = -0.185.

  2. Dark Energy Survey Year 3 Results: Cosmological Constraints from Galaxy Clustering and Weak Lensing

    astro-ph.CO 2021-05 accept novelty 6.0 of 10

DES Y3 3x2pt analysis constrains S8=0.776±0.017 and Ωm=0.339±0.032 in flat ΛCDM, consistent with Planck CMB results at p=0.13-0.48.

  3. Growth, geometry, and early-universe split of the matter density parameter $\Omega_{\rm m}$

    astro-ph.CO 2026-07 conditional novelty 5.5 of 10

Splitting Ω_m into geometry, growth, and early-universe regimes yields mutually compatible values, yet ΔΩ_m^{geo,early} is 2σ from zero under combined DES, Planck (scale-cut), DESI, Pantheon+, and RSD data.

  4. Biased tracers, Hybrid Effective Field Theory and Modified Gravity

    astro-ph.CO 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Extends HEFT to f(R) gravity for loop-corrected biased power spectra and outlines emulator extensions from LambdaCDM codes.

  5. Reanalyzing DESI DR1: 2. Constraints on Dark Energy, Spatial Curvature, and Neutrino Masses

    astro-ph.CO 2025-11 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Reanalysis of DESI full-shape clustering data tightens constraints on neutrino mass, spatial curvature, and dark energy equation-of-state parameters relative to BAO-only results.
