Big data approach to Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials
Data on Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials up to S_11 suggests superexponential growth of extremal coefficients, near-universal unimodality, and a conjectured closed family (1+v+...+v^l)^{k-1}.
