In this note we prove that for any finite quandle $X$ and any 2-cocycle $\phi\in Z^2_{Q\pm}(X; \mathds{Z})$, the cocycle invariant $\Phi^{\pm}_{\phi}(K)$ is trivial for all knots $K$.
