Transverse deflecting cavities are used for a number of applications in modern accelerators. In this paper we discuss the fields of these cavities, some of their applications, and some important aspects of their design.

Absolute charge calibration of DRZ phosphor screens for relativistic electron bunches
DRZ phosphor screen light yields per picocoulomb were measured at 30 MeV for all six screen types, giving calibration factors from 1.5 to 12.7 x 10^9 photons/sr/pC.
