abstract
We show a possible way to measure the column density of free electrons along the light path, the so-called Dispersion Measure (DM), from the early $[\sim 415 (\nu/1 {\rm GHz})^{-2} ({\rm DM}/10^{5} {\rm pc} {\rm cm}^{-3}) {\rm s}]$ radio afterglows of the gamma-ray bursts. We find that the proposed Square Kilometer Array can detect bright radio afterglows around the time $\sim 10^{3}(\nu/160 {\rm MHz})^{-2}$ s to measure the intergalactic DM ($\simg 6000$ pc cm$^{-3}$ at redshift $z>6$) up to $z\sim 30$, from which we can determine the reionization history of the universe and identify the missing warm-hot baryons. At low $z$, DM in the host galaxy may reach $\sim 10^{5}$ pc cm$^{-3}$ depending on the burst environment, which may be probed by the current detectors. Free-free absorption and diffractive scattering may also affect the radio emission in a high density.

Two new highly scattered fast radio bursts: evidence for scatter broadening by the circumsource medium
FRB240312D is the first highly scattered FRB whose scattering screen is localized to within about 8 pc of the source, with the two new bursts implying a rate consistent with shorter FRBs.

Unified kinetic theory of induced scattering: Compton, Brillouin, and Raman processes in magnetized electron and positron pair plasma
In strongly magnetized pair plasma, induced Compton and Brillouin scattering dominate in ordinary/neutral modes, while stimulated Raman scattering is enabled in a charged mode with growth rate (t_R)^-1 = a_e (omega0/o...

Generalized Distributions of Host Dispersion Measures in the Fast Radio Burst Cosmology
Generalizing the host galaxy dispersion measure distribution in FRB cosmology with 125 events produces Hubble constant estimates consistent with Planck 2018 and SH0ES while strongly favoring these models over narrow-p...

Constraining the Baryon Fraction in Extragalactic Diffuse Ionized Gas with 124 Localized Fast Radio Bursts
Analyzing 92 localized FRBs with a Jacobian-corrected IGM dispersion PDF plus CMB, BAO, and supernova data gives f_IGM = 0.864 ± 0.041 (YMW16, ΛCDM); the abstract's '124 bursts, f_d > 90%' headline is not supported by...

Cosmological-model independent limits on photon mass from FRB and SNe data
From 68 fast radio bursts and 1048 supernovae, the authors find a photon rest mass of roughly 18 to 29 times 10^-51 kilograms depending on the assumed intergalactic gas fraction, with zero mass still allowed at 2 to 3 sigma.

The impact of FRB dispersion measure probability distribution functions on cosmographic estimates
Cosmographic constraints from 106 FRBs on H0, q0, j0 depend sensitively on whether a Gaussian or quasi-Gaussian PDF is assumed for DM_IGM and on whether the baryon mass fraction is fixed or free.

Pad\'e Approximants for cosmic Dispersion Measures
Padé approximants reproduce the FRB diffuse dispersion measure integral to within a few percent while evaluating 2–17 times faster than numerical quadrature.

Estimating the baryon fraction in the IGM from well-localized FRBs and DESI data
Using 107 localized FRBs with DESI BAO and supernova distances, the author estimates fIGM near 0.99 in the constant model but finds Bayesian evidence inconclusive between constant and evolving baryon fraction.
