The NuTeV collaboration has extracted sin^2theta_W from the ratios of neutral current to charged current neutrino and anti-neutrino cross-sections. Our value, sin^2theta_W(on-shell)=0.2277+/-0.0013(stat)+/-0.0009(syst), is three standard deviations above the standard model prediction. We also present a model independent analysis of the same data.

  1. Constraining axial non-standard neutrino interactions with MINOS and MINOS+

    hep-ph 2025-09 unverdicted novelty 6.0 of 10

MINOS and MINOS+ neutral-current data yield world-leading bounds on axial NSI couplings ε^{Aq}_{eτ} and ε^{Aq}_{ττ} (including the isospin-singlet combination) for neutrinos interacting with u and d quarks.

  2. Invisible jets from composite neutrinos

    hep-ph 2025-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Neutrino scattering into composite invisible jets would enhance the neutral-to-charged current ratio, and NuTeV plus SHiP/FPF data can probe or exclude this scenario.

  3. Elastic neutrino-electron scattering perspectives at nuclear reactors

    hep-ph 2026-02 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Projections show CLOUD and TAO could improve low-energy weak mixing angle measurements to 8-11% via elastic neutrino-electron scattering, with competitive magnetic moment and NSI limits.

  4. Impact of parity-violating deep-inelastic scattering on the weak mixing angle and high-$x$ parton distributions

    hep-ph 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 4.0 of 10

Simulations of 11 and 22 GeV PVDIS pseudodata indicate potential constraints on low-Q² sin²θ_W and high-x strange quark and d/u PDFs, with strong correlations requiring simultaneous QCD-electroweak analysis.
