abstract

We propose a method for evaluating the slope (and higher derivatives) of the Isgur-Wise function at the zero recoil point using lattice simulations. These derivatives are required for the extrapolation of the experimental data for $B\rightarrow D^*l\bar\nu$ decays to the zero recoil point, from which the $V_{cb}$ element of the CKM-matrix can be determined.

  1. Calculation of meson charge radii using model-independent method in the PACS10 configuration

    hep-lat 2024-12 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

The PACS collaboration obtains preliminary charge radii of 0.423(10) fm^2 for pi+ and 0.373(4) fm^2 for K+ at a single lattice spacing, consistent with experiment.
