All parameterizations favor a dynamical dark-energy scenario with w0 > -1, wa < 0, and w0 + wa < -1, consistent with a Quintom-B behavior. A moderate preference for dynamical dark-energy models is found relative to LambdaCDM, reaching up to ~3.10 sigma for Ly alpha + CMB + galaxy BAO.
The chosen dark energy parameterizations (CPL, logarithmic, exponential, JBP, BA, generalized emergent) and the assumption that any deviation from w = -1 must take one of these functional forms; if the true behavior lies outside these families the reported preference could be an artifact of the model space.
DESI DR2 Lyman-alpha forest data combined with other probes yields up to 3.1 sigma preference for dynamical dark energy parameterizations over LambdaCDM, with w0 > -1 and wa < 0.
