Claims

C1strongest claim

Four of these galaxies, UGC 6438, UGC 7983, AGC 191707, and AGC 733302, appear dark-matter deficient. The latter three exhibit high baryon enhancement efficiency factor exceeding 50%, with AGC 191707 appearing formally super-efficient. Only UGC 9500 and AGC 220901 are consistent with being dark-matter dominated.

C2weakest assumption

That the high-resolution HI cubes from uGMRT allow reliable determination of true disc thickness, kinematic position angles, and circular velocities without significant contamination from non-circular motions, warps, or beam-smearing effects in these irregular dwarfs (implied in the transition from global spectra to resolved kinematics).

C3one line summary

Resolved HI observations of six baryon-dominated dwarf galaxy candidates show four are dark-matter deficient with high baryon efficiency, two in isolated environments without tidal signs.
