Tight-binding calculations on tilted 2D Dirac bands produce partner, sharp-peak, and cutoff frequencies in interband conductivity that are missing in the k·p model due to Brillouin zone boundaries and Pauli blocking.
As a conse- quence, the interband LOC σIB xx(ω, µ ≥ 0, t = 0 , h = 0) is equal to σIB yy(ω, µ ≥ 0, t = 0 , h = 0) only when ω is either greater than ω′ 2 or less than ω− 1

Interband optical conductivities in two-dimensional tilted Dirac bands revisited within the tight-binding model
Tight-binding calculations on tilted 2D Dirac bands produce partner, sharp-peak, and cutoff frequencies in interband conductivity that are missing in the k·p model due to Brillouin zone boundaries and Pauli blocking.
