Monte Carlo simulations show that moving SST-1M to an intermediate-altitude site (Malargue, 1420 m) improves low-energy performance with little high-energy loss, whereas the high-altitude Hanle site (4270 m) severely degrades stereo sensitivity above about 10 TeV.
