For 95 star-forming complexes in three galaxies, UV, infrared, atomic hydrogen, and H-alpha emissions all correlate, while CO brightness grows with velocity scatter only up to about 70 km/s and appears to fall beyond that.
This is most likely due to a more substantial increase of the 24µm flux
