Cylinder-specific combustion phasing and intake models are built from standard sub-models and used to design adaptive and feedforward controllers that achieve CA50 steady-state errors below 0.1 CAD and 1.3 CAD in six-cylinder simulations.

Cylinder-Specific Model-Based Control of Combustion Phasing for Multiple-Cylinder Diesel Engines Operating with High Dilution and Boost Levels
Cylinder-specific combustion phasing and intake models are built from standard sub-models and used to design adaptive and feedforward controllers that achieve CA50 steady-state errors below 0.1 CAD and 1.3 CAD in six-cylinder simulations.
