abstract

We explore asymptotic safety of gravity-matter systems, discovering indications for a near-perturbative nature of these systems in the ultraviolet. Our results are based on the dynamical emergence of effective universality at the asymptotically safe fixed point. Our findings support the conjecture that an asymptotically safe completion of the Standard Model with gravity could be realized in a near-perturbative setting.

The perturbative Ricci flow in gravity

hep-th · 2026-04-20 · unverdicted · novelty 8.0

A perturbative Ricci-flow formulation in gravity yields a renormalization scheme for Newton's constant that exhibits a non-Gaussian fixed point at two-loop order.

Spectral Functions of Lorentzian Quantum Gravity

hep-th · 2026-06-17 · unverdicted · novelty 6.0

Spectral functions for graviton and scalar graviton modes are derived in Lorentzian asymptotically safe quantum gravity via adapted FRG flow equations, yielding normalisable results consistent with infrared effective theory.
