In this Letter we revisit the type-II seesaw mechanism based on the addition of a weak triplet scalar to the standard model. We perform a comprehensive study of its phenomenology at the LHC energies, complete with the electroweak precision constraints. We pay special attention to the doubly-charged component, object of collider searches for a long time, and show how the experimental bound on its mass depends crucially on the particle spectrum of the theory. Our study can be used as a roadmap for future complete LHC studies.

  1. Probing compressed triplet scalars with ISR jets and soft leptons at the LHC

    hep-ph 2026-03 unverdicted novelty 7.0

A cut-and-count analysis exploiting ISR jets and soft leptons can reach discovery sensitivity for compressed triplet scalars with 1-30 GeV splittings at 3000 fb^{-1}.

  2. Radiative corrections to decays of the 125 GeV Higgs boson in the complex Higgs triplet model

    hep-ph 2026-01 conditional novelty 5.0

One-loop corrections in the complex Higgs triplet model shift the 125 GeV Higgs decay rates to WW* and ZZ* upward by a few percent relative to the SM, while allowing up to -20% deviation in gamma gamma and 100% in the...
