Authors: We agree that explicit confirmation of controlled variables is essential for attributing gains to the upsampling methods. In our experiments, the 3DGS implementation, densification schedule, learning rates, Gaussian initialization code, and all optimization hyperparameters were held fixed, with only the input point cloud varying.
