Super-leading logarithmic terms have previously been observed in non-global QCD observables. In this paper we re-calculate the first super-leading contribution to the `gaps between jets' cross-section using a diagrammatic fixed order approach. We calculate for the first time the super-leading contribution at fifth order in alpha_s.

  1. Fully Differential Soft Gluon Evolution at the Amplitude Level

    hep-ph 2025-05 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Subleading-color corrections in soft gluon evolution alter the differential shape of inter-jet radiation, and these shape effects can cancel only after integrating over large angular regions.

  2. Super-Leading Logarithms in $pp\to2$ Jets

    hep-ph 2024-11 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Super-leading logarithms contribute about 13 percent to the LHC pp to 2 jets gap-between-jets cross section at Q0 = 10 GeV, and a q qbar interference term is only 1/Nc suppressed.
