abstract

Charmed meson decays to a light pseudoscalar ($P$) and light vector ($V$) meson are analyzed taking account of $\eta$--$\eta'$ mixing. A frequently-used octet-singlet mixing angle of $19.5^\circ$ is compared with a value of $11.7^\circ$ favored by a recent analysis of $D \to PP$ decays.

  1. Finite width effects in nonleptonic D-decays

    hep-ph 2024-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Including final-state meson widths in the phase space of nonleptonic D decays changes some flavor-SU(3) branching-ratio predictions, most notably boosting D0 to K*0 eta' far above the experimental upper limit.
