We review the theoretical status of squark and gluino hadroproduction and provide numerical predictions for all squark and gluino pair-production processes at the Tevatron and at the LHC, with a particular emphasis on proton-proton collisions at 7 TeV. Our predictions include next-to-leading order supersymmetric QCD corrections and the resummation of soft gluon emission at next-to-leading-logarithmic accuracy. We discuss the impact of the higher-order corrections on total cross sections, and provide an estimate of the theoretical uncertainty due to scale variation and the parton distribution functions.

  1. Search for supersymmetry using Higgs boson to diphoton decays at $\sqrt{s} =$ 13 TeV

    hep-ex 2019-08 accept novelty 4.0 of 10

No supersymmetry signal was found in Higgs-to-diphoton events, and new 95% CL limits exclude sbottom masses below 530 GeV and chargino-neutralino masses below 235-290 GeV in simplified SUSY models.

  2. Search for supersymmetry in proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV in final states with jets and missing transverse momentum

    hep-ex 2019-08 accept novelty 4.0 of 10

A 137 fb^-1 CMS search in the jets-plus-missing-momentum final state finds no supersymmetry excess and sets new 95% CL lower limits of up to 2310 GeV on the gluino mass and 1630 GeV on the squark mass.
