We construct new compactifications with good properties of moduli spaces of maps from nonsingular marked curves to a large class of GIT quotients. This generalizes from a unified perspective many particular examples considered earlier in the literature.

  1. Symplectic duality for the constant term of the geometric Eisenstein series

    math.AG 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

The cohomology of the quasimap space is identified with the local cohomology of a natural vector bundle on the scheme-theoretic fixed locus of the étale fundamental group action on the A_n-surface Coulomb branch, for ...

  2. Schubert line defects in 3d GLSMs, part I: Complete flag manifolds and quantum Grothendieck polynomials

    hep-th 2025-12 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

Schubert line defects in 3d GLSMs for complete flag manifolds are realized as SQM quivers whose indices give quantum Grothendieck polynomials and restrict the target space to Schubert varieties.

  3. Quantum K-theory levels in physics and math

    hep-th 2025-06 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Chern-Simons levels and Ruan-Zhang levels are identified as the same twisting of quantum K-theory, with Coulomb branch equations matching difference operator symbols and geometric windows matching mirror triviality.

  4. Nonabelian shift operators and shifted Yangians

    math.AG 2024-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

New nonabelian shift operators and wall-crossing identities show that the quantized Coulomb branch of pure GL_n gauge theory is a quotient of the shifted Yangian Y_{-nα}(sl2), with vertex functions as Hecke eigenfunctions.
