Probing the Scattering of Equivalent Electroweak Bosons
read the original abstract
We analyze the kinematic conditions under which the scattering of equivalent massive spin-1 vector bosons factorizes out of the complete process. In practice, we derive the conditions for the validity of the effective W approximation, proposed long ago but never established on a firm basis. We also present a parametric estimate of the corrections to the approximation and explicitly check its validity in two examples.

Higgs production in association with a Z boson at TeV-scale lepton colliders
At TeV lepton colliders the neutrino-associated Zh production cross section surpasses direct Zh production above a few TeV, with interference patterns made interpretable by the Feynman-diagram gauge.

Distinguishing Higgs portal and neutralino dark matter via vector boson fusion
Vector boson fusion processes at the LHC distinguish Higgs portal dark matter from neutralino dark matter at over 5 sigma using jet kinematics and a Kolmogorov-Smirnov test with linear discriminant analysis.
