Towards the One-loop Kahler Metric of Calabi-Yau Orientifolds
read the original abstract
We evaluate string one-loop contributions to the Kahler metric of closed string moduli in toroidal minimally supersymmetric (Calabi-Yau) orientifolds with D-branes. We focus on the poorly understood N=1 sectors that receive contributions from all massive string states.

Quantum obstructions for $N=1$ infinite distance limits -- Part I: $g_s$ obstructions

Some Properties and Uses of the Species Scale
The Species Scale implies Laplace eigenvalue equations for BPS-protected Wilson coefficients and produces a one-loop moduli potential with minima at desert points that may stabilize Kähler moduli in 4d Type IIB orientifolds.
