abstract
We investigate the impact parameter dependence of the $\cos 4\phi$ azimuthal asymmetry for electromagnetic lepton pair production in heavy ion collisions. The asymmetry induced by linearly polarized coherent photons exhibits strong impact parameter dependence.

Influence of the residual magnetic field on the azimuthal distribution of final-state particles in photon-nuclear processes
The residual magnetic field in peripheral Au+Au collisions at 200 GeV induces a 2⟨cos2ϕ⟩ modulation of up to 0.2 for photoproduced rho0 mesons at pT~0.1 GeV/c, exceeding the polarization signal, so it must be corrected.

Probing Quantum Phenomena through Photoproduction in Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collisions
A review of coherent vector meson photoproduction in ultra-peripheral heavy-ion collisions, centered on two-source interference and the claim that the observed spin patterns probe quantum entanglement analogies.
