abstract

This work studies the associated production of a top-quark pair with a $W$, $Z$, or Higgs boson at the LHC. Predictions for the total cross sections as well as for several differential distributions of the massive particles in the final state are provided. These predictions, valid for the LHC operating at $13$ TeV, include without any approximation all the NLO electroweak and QCD contributions of $\mathcal{O}(\alpha_s^{i} \alpha^{j+1})$ with $i+j=2,3$. In addition, the predictions presented here improve upon the NLO QCD results by adding the effects of soft gluon emission corrections resummed to next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic accuracy. The residual dependence of the predictions on scale and PDF choices is analyzed.

  1. Precise predictions for $t \bar t H$ production at the LHC: inclusive cross section and differential distributions

    hep-ph 2024-11 accept novelty 8.0 of 10

First fully differential NNLO QCD predictions for ttH production at the LHC, with the missing two-loop virtual part estimated by two complementary approximations and merged with NLO electroweak corrections.

  2. The inseparable three and four tops

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

Full-NLO predictions for tttW production, combined with tttt through a new window-removal prescription, give a joint inclusive rate more than 10% above the on-shell four-top prediction.

  3. Two-loop Feynman integrals for leading colour $t\bar{t}W$ production at hadron colliders

    hep-ph 2025-04 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

A complete set of two-loop master integrals for leading-colour ttW production is reduced to differential equations that are at most quadratic in the dimensional regulator and evaluated numerically in the physical region.

  4. Next-to-next-to-leading order event generation for $t\bar{t}H$ production with approximate two-loop amplitude

    hep-ph 2026-03 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

First NNLO+PS (MiNNLOPS) generator for ttH production, combining soft-Higgs and high-energy approximate two-loop amplitudes pointwise, with one-loop-level validation.

  5. Invariant-mass threshold resummation for the production of four top quarks at the LHC

    hep-ph 2025-05 accept novelty 6.0 of 10

First invariant-mass threshold resummation for ttbar ttbar production, giving NLO+NLL' predictions for the invariant-mass distribution and total cross section.

  6. Advancing Higgsino Searches by Integrating ML for Boosted Object Tagging and Event Selection

    hep-ph 2025-01 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A GNN-plus-BDT analysis of fat jets is projected to extend GGM higgsino exclusion reach to 1470 GeV at 14 TeV with 200 fb-1, up from roughly 1025 GeV in current CMS searches.

  7. Probing the $CP$ nature of the top quark Yukawa at hadron colliders

    hep-ph 2019-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A new charge-blind CP-odd observable in top-antitop-Higgs production could let the HL-LHC probe the CP-violating top Yukawa down to about 0.5 and a 27 TeV HE-LHC down to about 0.1 at 2σ.

  8. Revisiting Universal Extra-Dimension Model with Gravity Mediated Decays

    hep-ph 2024-12 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Existing LHC data exclude fat-brane mUED compactification scales below about 3 TeV, and ML-tagged searches at 500 fb^-1 could extend the reach to roughly 3.2 to 3.4 TeV.

  9. The Role of the $t{\bar t}h$ Rest Frame in Direct Top-Quark Yukawa Coupling Measurements

    hep-ph 2019-09 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

Evaluating the b2 and b4 angular observables in the ttbar h rest frame, instead of the lab frame, reduces by about 250 inverse femtobarns the integrated luminosity needed to exclude a pure CP-odd top-quark Yukawa coupling.
