We show that in the Mclerran-Venugopalan model, an axial asymmetrical valence quark distributions in the transverse plane of a transversely polarized proton can give rise to a spin dependent odderon. Such polarized odderon is responsible for the transverse single spin asymmetries(SSAs) for jet production in the backward region of pp collisions and open charm production in semi-inclusive DIS process.

  1. Nucleon Tomography with 0-jettiness

    hep-ph 2025-06 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Applying a 0-jettiness veto to transverse single-spin asymmetries in W/Z production at RHIC enhances the asymmetry signal, sharpening the test of the Sivers sign change.

  2. Off forward non-SCHC contributions to exclusive vector quarkonium production from the "spin dependent BFKL Pomeron"

    hep-ph 2025-06 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

The spin-dependent BFKL Pomeron generates proton-helicity-flip amplitudes in exclusive quarkonium photoproduction at order momentum transfer squared, with explicit eikonal expressions and quark-model estimates.
