We consider the back-to-back region in the energy--energy correlation in e^+e^- collisions. We present the explicit expression of the O(as^2) logarithmically enhanced contributions up to next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic accuracy. We study the impact of the results in a detailed comparison with precise LEP and SLC data. We find that, when hadronization effects are taken into account as is customarily done in QCD analysis in e^+e^- annihilations, the extracted value of as(M_Z) is in good agreement with the current world average.

    hep-ph 2025-09 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

The work establishes a correspondence between spin-dependent energy correlators and polarized TMDs/NECs using SCET, yielding N3LL/N2LL predictions for correlation patterns in current and target fragmentation regions.

  3. Holographic Energy Correlators for Soft Walls

    hep-ph 2024-12 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

  4. The Three-Point Energy Correlator in the Coplanar Limit

    hep-ph 2024-11 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

A new tau_p projection makes the coplanar limit of the three-point energy correlator a TMD-factorized trijet observable, resummed to N3LL, the first trijet event shape at this order.

  5. Benchmarking the Nearside Energy-Energy Correlators with Mellin Transform

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A Mellin-transform framework with one fitted transition scale Λ describes nearside EECs in e+e− annihilation at NNLO+NNLL accuracy across ALEPH and earlier data.

  6. HDSense: An efficient method for ranking observable sensitivity

    hep-ph 2026-02 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

HDSense ranks observable subsets by adding per-observable Fisher information and penalizing overlap, picking near-optimal sets for Pythia hadronization parameters in tested cases.

  7. Energy correlators in four-dimensional gravity

    hep-th 2025-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Gravitational energy correlators in four dimensions are computed at one loop, shown to be infrared-finite, and resummed in the back-to-back limit by soft-graviton exponentiation.

  8. Factorization and Resummation for the Nearside Energy-Energy Correlators

    hep-ph 2025-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A new all-order resummation formula in Fourier b_T-space for the nearside energy-energy correlator, derived from di-hadron fragmentation functions, matches fixed-order calculations and predicts a small-angle turnover.

  9. Heavy quark mass effects in the Energy-Energy Correlation in the back-to-back region

    hep-ph 2024-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Massive quark Sudakov resummation for e+e- energy-energy correlations is extended to NNLL accuracy, and the NLL dead cone angle is enlarged by sqrt(e).
