Masses of the ground, orbitally and radially excited states of quark-antiquark mesons composed from the light (u,d,s) quarks are calculated within the framework of the relativistic quark model based on the quasipotential approach. The relativistic treatment of the light quark dynamics results in mass spectra which agree well with available experimental data for the masses of the most well-established states. The Regge trajectories for angular and radial excitations are constructed, and their linearity, parallelism and equidistance are verified. The assignment of experimentally observed light mesons to particular Regge trajectories is based on their masses and quantum numbers.

    hep-ph 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 4.0

Derives λ, ρ1, ρ2, σ1, and σ2 Regge trajectories for the hexaquark (ū(cc))(b(b̄b̄)) in the triquark-antitriquark picture, showing substructure is required for most series and giving rough mass estimates for excited states.

  2. QCD sum rule analysis of local meson-meson currents for the $K(1690)$ state

    hep-ph 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 4.0

QCD sum rules with local meson-meson currents for the K(1690) consistently predict masses around 2 GeV or above, disfavoring a molecular interpretation in favor of a compact multiquark state.

  3. Mass spectrum, magnetic moments and Regge trajectories of $\Omega_{ccb}$ and $\Omega_{cbb}$ baryons in the nonrelativistic quark--diquark model

    hep-ph 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 4.0

In a nonrelativistic quark-diquark model fitted to B_c meson data, the authors predict ground-state masses of ~8.0 GeV for Ω_ccb and ~11.0 GeV for Ω_cbb along with magnetic moments and Regge trajectories for different...

  4. Two Lectures on the Phase Diagram of QCD

    hep-ph 2026-04 unverdicted novelty 4.0

QCD features at least three phases at zero baryon density and three at high density, including a Quarkyonic phase at high density and low temperature, described via large-N_c and a parameter-free 3D string model.

  5. High-Energy Pion Scattering in Holographic QCD: A Comparison with Experimental Data

    hep-ph 2025-12 unverdicted novelty 4.0

Holographic hard-wall model produces angular distributions for high-energy pion scattering that show qualitative agreement with experimental extractions.

  6. Mass spectrum, magnetic moments and Regge trajectories of $\Omega_{ccb}$ and $\Omega_{cbb}$ baryons in the nonrelativistic quark--diquark model

    hep-ph 2026-04 conditional novelty 3.0

A nonrelativistic quark-diquark model, parameterized via the B_c meson spectrum, predicts ground-state masses near 8.0 GeV for Ω_ccb and 11.0 GeV for Ω_cbb, along with magnetic moments and Regge trajectories.
