abstract

The correlation function of meson interpolators in $N_f=2+1+1$ lattice QCD with optimal domain-wall quarks at the physical point are studied for six temperatures in the range $ T \sim$ 190-770 MeV. The meson interpolators include a complete set of Dirac bilinears, and each for six combinations of quark flavors. In this paper, we focus on the meson correlators of $u$ and $d$ quarks, and discuss their implications for the effective restoration of $U(1)_A$ and $SU(2)_L \times SU(2)_R$ chiral symmetries, as well as the emergence of the approximate $SU(2)_{CS}$ chiral spin symmetry.

    hep-lat 2026-02 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

In the continuum limit, κ_PS, κ_VA and κ_TX are all consistent with zero and with each other down to 164 MeV, implying concurrent chiral and U(1)_A restoration in the quark-connected nonsinglet sector.

  2. Symmetry of screening masses of mesons in two-flavor lattice QCD at high temperatures

    hep-lat 2025-01 accept novelty 6.0 of 10

Using Möbius domain-wall fermions in two-flavor QCD, the authors find that vector/axial-vector and tensor/axial-tensor screening masses become degenerate above Tc, while the chiral-spin A-X splitting stays around 40 M...

  3. Centre vortex evidence for a second finite-temperature QCD transition

    hep-lat 2024-11 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Centre vortex percolation persists through the chiral crossover in 2+1 flavour QCD and is lost near 321 MeV, suggesting a separate deconfinement transition at about 1.9 times the chiral transition temperature.

    hep-lat 2024-11 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

In five-flavor lattice QCD with heavy up/down quarks, chiral symmetry restoration proceeds hierarchically from SU(2) to SU(5) with temperature, and the emergent chiral-spin symmetry windows are dominated by bottom-lig...

On an Nτ=8 MDWF lattice, the non-singlet chiral symmetry restores at Tpc=158.7 MeV, while the UA(1) singlet symmetry remains effectively broken up to 186 MeV, as inferred from the temperature dependence of the topolog...

Screening-mass measurements in N_f=2 lattice QCD with Möbius domain-wall fermions indicate SU(2)_L x SU(2)_R and axial U(1)_A restoration near T_c ~ 165 MeV, while SU(2)_CS shows no clear emergence.
