On radial gas flows, the Galactic Bar and chemical evolution in the Galactic Disc
read the original abstract
We develop a numerical chemical model allowing for radial flows of gas, with the aim to analyse the possible role of gas flows in the chemical evolution of the Galactic Disc. The dynamical effects of the Galactic Bar on the radial gas profile of the Disc are especially addressed.

Towards a measurement of the primordial helium isotope ratio
New VLT observations of He I* absorbers yield a primordial ³He/⁴He ratio of (1.15^{+0.24}_{-0.21})×10^{-4} consistent with standard Big Bang nucleosynthesis, plus an updated stellar yield scaling factor.
