We address the problem of describing the thermodynamics and holography of three-dimensional accelerating black holes. By embedding the solutions in the Chern-Simons formalism, we identify two distinct masses, each with its associated first law of thermodynamics. We also show that a boundary entropy should be included (or excluded) in the black hole entropy.

  1. Generalized Fefferman-Graham gauge and boundary Weyl structures

    hep-th 2024-11 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

In the generalized Fefferman-Graham gauge, three-dimensional AdS gravity produces a boundary Weyl connection, a Weyl-covariant stress tensor and trace anomaly, and requires a new corner counterterm that fixes the Eucl...

  2. Holographic correlation functions from wedge

    hep-th 2024-11 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Correlation functions of heavy operators can be computed from the on-shell action of a wedge excised from AdS3, verified in Poincaré, global, and BTZ backgrounds.

  3. Nonperfect Carrollian Fluids Through Holography

    hep-th 2026-01 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

Bulk gravitational radiation, diagnosed by the Fernández-Álvarez–Senovilla criterion, is dual to dissipative (Carrollian) boundary-fluid data, with an entropy-flux law and a Robinson-Trautman worked example.
