We present the first systematic study of higher-twist light-cone distribution amplitudes of the nucleon in QCD. We find that the valence three-quark state is described at small transverse separations by eight independent distribution amplitudes. One of them is leading twist-3, three distributions are twist-4 and twist-5, respectively, and one is twist-6. A complete set of distribution amplitudes is constructed, which satisfies equations of motion and constraints that follow from conformal expansion. Nonperturbative input parameters are estimated from QCD sum rules.

  1. Light Cone Distribution Amplitude for the $\Lambda$ Baryon from Lattice QCD

    hep-lat 2024-11 conditional novelty 7.0 of 10

The first lattice QCD extraction of the Lambda baryon's light-cone distribution amplitude via LaMET yields a momentum-fraction distribution peaked at small light-quark momenta.

  2. Revisiting $\bar B^0 \rightarrow \Lambda_c^+ \bar p$ decay with higher twist corrections

    hep-ph 2026-07 accept novelty 6.0 of 10

Higher-twist LCDAs plus W-exchange produce destructive interference that lowers the PQCD branching fraction of B-bar0 to Lambda_c+ p-bar to ~1.6e-5, matching experiment, while predicting the suppressed mode at order 10^{-8}.

  3. SCET sum rules for $\Lambda_b \to \Lambda \ell^+\ell^-$, $\Lambda \gamma$ decays

    hep-ph 2025-06 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

SCET light-cone sum rules give NLO soft form factors and small non-factorizable corrections for Λ_b → Λ decays, with a Λ_b → Λ γ branching fraction consistent with data.

  4. Updated determination of light-cone distribution amplitudes of octet baryons in lattice QCD

    hep-lat 2024-11 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Updated baryon light-cone distribution amplitude moments are presented using two-loop conversion factors and new low-energy constants; the two-loop anomalous dimensions for one-derivative three-quark operators are com...

  5. Constraints on the mass of the dark antibaryon using $B_d\rightarrow \Lambda \psi_{DS}$ channel in light cone QCD

    hep-ph 2026-05 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

The mass ranges for the dark antibaryon ψ_DS are determined by deriving the B_d → Λ ψ_DS branching fraction via light-cone QCD sum rules and comparing it to BaBar and Belle experimental bounds.

  6. Semileptonic neutral current decays of $\Xi_b$ with dileptons or dineutrinos in the final state

    hep-ph 2025-12 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Perturbative QCD calculations find that branching fractions for Ξ_b to Ξ lepton-pair decays lie within LHCb reach and that angular observables plus a specific ratio can constrain Wilson coefficients and extract |V_td/...
