We propose to identify whether a sterile neutrino is Dirac-type or Majorana-type by counting the peak of the rapidity distribution at lepton colliders. Our method requires only one charged-lepton tagging, and the nature of sterile neutrinos can be pinned down once they are confirmed.

  1. The Forward Neutrino Flux and its Secondaries at a 10 TeV Muon Collider

    hep-ph 2026-08 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A beam-dynamics-aware simulation of a 10 TeV muon collider finds an intense forward neutrino beam with about 10^9 neutrino interactions per year in a 3.2 tonne detector and about two rock-produced muons per bunch crossing.

  2. Search for heavy Majorana neutrinos at muon-proton colliders via lepton-number-violating signals

    hep-ph 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 5.0 of 10

Simulates LNV signals from heavy Majorana neutrinos (200-3000 GeV) at a 5.3 TeV μp collider and projects 2σ limits on |V_ℓN|² superior to LHC bounds for 100 fb⁻¹ and 1 ab⁻¹ luminosities.
