Top interactions beyond the Standard Model can be conveniently described in the framework of gauge-invariant effective operators. We briefly review the general form of the fermion-fermion-gauge boson and fermion-fermion-Higgs interactions arising from dimension-6 operators, focusing on the top quark. We discuss in detail an expansion in powers of 1/Lambda^2, where Lambda is the new physics scale, to consistently calculate observables in terms of top anomalous couplings.

  1. Separation of left-handed and anomalous right-handed vector operators contributions into the Wtb vertex for single and double resonant top quark production processes using a neural network

    hep-ph 2024-12 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

A two-stage neural network that separates single and double resonant top production improves the expected 95% CL limit on the right-handed Wtb coupling f_R^V from 0.21 to 0.17.
