We present a new module of the micrOMEGAs package for the calculation of WIMP-nuclei elastic scattering cross sections relevant for the direct detection of dark matter through its interaction with nuclei in a large detector. With this new module, the computation of the direct detection rate is performed automatically for a generic model of new physics which contains a WIMP candidate. This model needs to be implemented within micrOMEGAs2.1.

  1. Unveiling the Vanishing Higgsino-Nucleon Scattering in the MSSM at Next-to-Leading Order

    hep-ph 2026-07 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

Near the stop-top kinematic threshold, next-to-leading-order corrections cancel the leading Higgsino-nucleon scattering amplitude, pushing the spin-independent cross section below the neutrino floor in parts of the MS...

  2. Shedding Light on Dark Matter at the LHC with Machine Learning

    hep-ph 2025-09 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

A machine-learned LHC analysis projects 5-sigma sensitivity to singlino-dominated NMSSM dark matter via radiative higgsino decays to photons, covering higgsino masses up to 225 GeV.

  3. Evading Dark Matter Bounds through NLSP-Assisted Freeze-Out with Long-Lived Signatures

    hep-ph 2025-06 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

In a U(1)B-L model with four chiral fermions, conversion-driven freeze-out lets a long-lived heavier fermion set the dark matter relic density while direct detection stays weak.

  4. Interplay of $95$ GeV Diphoton Excess and Dark Matter in Supersymmetric Triplet Model

    hep-ph 2025-04 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

A parameter scan shows the triplet-extended MSSM has regions that fit the 95 GeV diphoton signal, the 125 GeV Higgs mass, and the dark matter relic density simultaneously.

  5. The Heavy Gluino in Natural No-Scale $\cal{F}$-$SU$(5)

    hep-ph 2019-08 conditional novelty 5.0 of 10

Relaxing the relic density constraint lets no-scale Flipped SU(5) push the gluino mass up to about 7.5 TeV, with the top quark mass and Higgs mass tradeoff setting the boundary.

  6. Scalar dark matter, Neutrino mass and Leptogenesis in a $\rm U(1)_{B-L}$ model

    hep-ph 2019-08 conditional novelty 4.0 of 10

A U(1)B-L model with four anomaly-cancelling fermions can satisfy dark matter relic density and direct detection bounds, neutrino oscillation data, and the observed baryon asymmetry through resonant leptogenesis.

  7. Correlative study of flavor anomalies and dark matter in the light of scalar leptoquark

    hep-ph 2024-09 unverdicted novelty 3.0 of 10

A U(1)_{Le-Lμ} extended SM with scalar leptoquark explains b→s anomalies via Z', leptoquark and new fermions while the lightest neutral fermion serves as DM, with constraints analyzed from B decays and DM observables.
