We consider the region of small transverse momenta in the production of high-mass systems in hadronic collisions. By using the current knowledge on the infrared behaviour of tree-level and one-loop QCD amplitudes at O(alpha_s^2), we analytically compute the general form of the logarithmically-enhanced contributions up to next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic accuracy. By comparing the results with q_T-resummation formulae we extract the coefficients that control the resummation of the large logarithmic contributions for both quark and gluon channels. Our results show that within the conventional resummation formalism the Sudakov form factor is actually process-dependent.

    hep-ph 2019-09 conditional novelty 8.0 of 10

The paper provides the complete three-loop singular subtraction terms for qT and 0-jettiness and derives the first threshold predictions for the three-loop beam-function coefficients, later confirmed by direct calculation.

  2. MiNNLO$_{\text{PS}}$: A new method to match NNLO QCD to parton showers

    hep-ph 2019-08 conditional novelty 8.0 of 10

MiNNLOPS matches NNLO QCD to parton showers without reweighting or merging scales, preserving leading-logarithmic shower accuracy for transverse-momentum-ordered showers.

    hep-lat 2026-06 unverdicted novelty 7.0 of 10

The Collins-Soper kernel is extracted from lattice computations of a vacuum soft function, showing rapidity dependence consistent with Collins-Soper evolution, comparable errors to hadronic methods, and saturation at ...

    hep-ph 2025-05 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

A GENEVA NNLO+PS generator for b bbar H and c cbar H is built with qT resummation at N3LL and the first NLL' resummation of a transverse-measure one-jettiness.

    hep-ph 2024-12 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

The parton branching TMD framework is upgraded from NLL to NNLL accuracy using the soft-gluon physical coupling, with the Collins-Soper kernel evaluated at NNLL.
