abstract

We have computed the cross-section and distributions for the production of two photons and a jet via the process $g g \to \gamma\gamma g$. In the Standard Model, this process occurs at the one-loop level through pentagon and box diagrams. We show that at the LHC this is a significant mechanism for the production of the two photons and a jet. This process is also an important background to the Higgs boson production, when the Higgs boson decays into two photons. We also explorethis process at the Tevatron.

  1. Effect of anomalous $HHH$ coupling on the decay $H\rightarrow Z\,Z^*\rightarrow$ 4 charged leptons

    hep-ph 2025-06 conditional novelty 6.0 of 10

The H to 4 lepton partial width shifts by up to about 6 percent at one loop when the Higgs trilinear coupling is anomalous, offering a new observable for the Higgs self-coupling.
